The Brentwood Christian School swim team completed its season on Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the TAPPS Division II State Meet, and four athletes came home with gold from the event.

The quartet of junior Evan Berger and sophomores Andrew Berger, Henry Gibson and Chayce Lee turned in a time of 1:36.47 to hold off Frassati Catholic School (1:37.25) in the 200 freestyle relay to come out on top. Andrew Berger's split of 23.56, best among his teammates, helped seal the victory.

It was a big day for Lee, as well, who earned two other medals: bronze in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. It was an encouraging effort all-around for a group who only graduates one senior in William Kurtz.

Elsewhere, the highest finisher on the girls side for BCS was sophomore Ali Nelson-Cook, who earned a bronze of her own in the 500 freestyle. Nelson-Cook was sixth in the 200 freestyle.
