Weather issues didn't deter the high school and middle school swims teams, as both competed in Dallas over the weekend at the TAPPS regional meet (HS) and DFW Invitational (MS).

The high school team had a strong showing, with the boys coming in third overall as a team. All three of the team's relays advanced to state, with the 200 medley earning second and the 200 and 400 freestyle earning third.

Individually, sophomore Chayce Lee advanced in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. Sophomore Andrew Berger advanced in the 50 freestyle, and sophomore Henry Gibson and juniors Trey Wood and Evan Berger are awaiting final times to see if they will also get the call.

On the girls side, Ali Nelson-Cook advanced in three events and the girls advanced both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays to state.
