Ellie Ward graduated from Southwestern University in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business. She is teaching in the history department and assisting in multiple sports at BCS, including volleyball, basketball and softball. 

A standout, five-sport high school athlete at Bishop Reicher in Waco, Ward is no stranger to private school. She went on from Reicher to a four-year letterwinner career at Southwestern for the women’s basketball team. She played in 96 career games during her four-year stint, scored over 800 points for the program, and was academic honor roll in the conference three times.
